BioThen one day the dawn was breaking
and I looked at myself
and the picture was clear
after that I could look at you
at them at
the past and the present
and all of those things which I force
into the unwritten future
hopefully it will stay clear
precisely the way a very sharp
blade can carry out its function
the way that true believers commune with
god rather than corresponding like the rest of us
in the muddy belief that he exists without recognition
this is how the springtime comes
this is the budding of tomorrow
this cloudless, bright, cold
release
like taking off the itch of winter.
